Kids simply love to play. Out door activities are great for kids as it helps their overall growth process. But some times it becomes really impossible for your kids to pursue outdoor activities; such as during rainy season because of the rain, or in winter season when it snows a lot. These are great time to engage your kid’s mind in indoor activities.
If you search the web for finding out indoor games you will be flooded with great ideas. There are plenty of sites where you can get a wide variety of indoor games ideas. Memory games, Board games , and games like Simon Says are perhaps the most frequently played indoor games. Your kids can also play Observation games where they are shown some items first then they are required to remember the items they were shown. As for some innovative interesting games scout different web sites. One game is called Build a poem where the kids will cut words from old magazines and will position them in order so that the arrangement forms into a beautiful poem. Balloon sandwich is another fun game. Kids need to play this game in pairs they will stand with their backs to each other keeping a balloon between them and this way they need to walk till they reach the finish line with the balloon between them. This game is sure to generate loads of laughter. Kids should learn to use imagination so to ignite their imagination they could play Group storytelling game in which one kid opens the game by beginning a story and after few lines the kid will pick another kid who will continue the story. With One minute of words game vocabulary level of your children would sure go up. In this game the kids have to write as many words as they can with a particular letter within a minute and they might be asked to prepare sentences with as many words as they can in the next minute. Indoor games are great fun and is beneficial too. Encourage your kids to play different indoor games play with them and have great time!
